   so...eris black started off from this jacket|it was part of a small capsule collection
   i “kobe asante” created as part of my college application”i got accepted but
   couldn’t attend for a few reasons”|after a few failed collections, the sale of this
   jacket to “archive0101” is what helped establish our brand.
   the chaotic procedure involved in making the first denim jacket & collection in
   whole is what inspired the name of the label “eris black” derived primarily from
   the greek goddess “eris”.
   over time our aesthetic has become deep rooted in “creation through deconstruction”
   focused on patchwork|distressing|re-works|graphic prints|story telling|
   ironic & satirical interpretation of pop-culture, fusing it with experimental &
   practical street ready garments & accessories.
   also would like to thank everyone who has made a purchase with us|liked|posted|
   reblog or shared our products & vision. eris black is small scale|self funded
   label & every sale and support is greatly appreciated & influences the sustainability
   & funding of the label.
